Information pursuant to § 5 of the German Digital Services Act (Digitale-Dienste-Gesetz, DDG)

The address must be one at which legal documents can be served — an actual business address, not a P.O. box and not a bare c/o address without a real seat.

In the case of a sole proprietorship without an entry in the commercial register, “TRAJA Projects” is not legally a company name (Firma) within the meaning of § 17 HGB, but at most a business designation. § 5 No. 1 DDG therefore requires the owner’s civil name here — it must appear, even where the business presents itself outwardly as “TRAJA Projects”. The business designation therefore comes first, with the name as an addition below it.

§ 5 No. 2 DDG requires details that permit rapid electronic contact and direct communication. Under the case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union (Case C-298/07) a telephone number is not mandatory as long as a second prompt channel exists — here the e-mail address together with the “Contact & support” page and its promised response time. If a number is added later, it must be reachable.

Competent authority and professional chamber

Does not apply at all — not even as a placeholder. § 5 No. 3 DDG requires a supervisory authority to be named only where the activity offered requires official authorisation; § 5 No. 5 DDG requires chamber details only for regulated professions. Software development is neither, and by its own intended purpose Takt is not a medical device.

Tax identification numbers

Business identification number pursuant to § 139c of the German Fiscal Code:

§ 5 No. 6 DDG requires these numbers only “where they exist”. A VAT identification number is deliberately not stated here: TRAJA Projects is a small business under § 19 UStG and does not hold one. The business identification number is independent of that: the Federal Central Tax Office (Bundeszentralamt für Steuern) allocates it automatically, without application.

Pursuant to § 18 (2) of the German Interstate Media Treaty (Medienstaatsvertrag, MStV) for content of a journalistic-editorial nature — meaning offerings that engage critically with topics and thereby influence the formation of opinion. A purely explanatory page without opinion formation strictly speaking does not require this. The entry costs nothing and is therefore the safe route as soon as explanatory articles go online.

Under § 18 (2) MStV the person named must meet four conditions: permanent residence in Germany, unrestricted legal capacity, no loss by judicial decision of the capacity to hold public office, and no restriction of criminal prosecutability. In a sole proprietorship this is as a rule the owner.

Consumer dispute resolution

We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

This declaration under § 36 (1) No. 1 VSBG does not apply in any case to businesses that had ten or fewer employees on 31 December of the preceding year — under § 36 (3) VSBG the duty to inform does not arise at all in that case.

No reference to the EU online dispute resolution platform (ODR): the European Commission permanently shut the platform down on 20 July 2025 (Regulation (EU) 2024/3228, which repeals the ODR Regulation (EU) 524/2013). A link to ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr has led nowhere ever since and no longer belongs here.

Liability for content and links

As a service provider we are responsible for our own content on these pages under § 7 (1) DDG in accordance with general law. Under §§ 8 to 10 DDG, however, we as a service provider are not obliged to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information or to investigate circumstances that indicate unlawful activity. Obligations to remove or block the use of information under general law remain unaffected. Liability in this respect is only possible from the point in time at which we become aware of a specific infringement of the law. Upon becoming aware of such infringements, we remove that content immediately.

Our offering contains references to external third-party websites over whose content we have no influence. We therefore cannot accept any responsibility for that third-party content. The respective provider is always responsible for the content of the linked pages. The linked pages were checked for possible legal infringements at the time of linking; no unlawful content was apparent. A permanent review of content without concrete indications of an infringement is not reasonable. Upon becoming aware of infringements, we remove such references immediately.
