Moving from Flo to Takt? Your years come with you.
Every period, every curve, every day you made a note. That's yours, even when you switch apps.
Here is how you get your data out of Flo, Clue, drip or Natural Cycles and bring it to Takt. For each app, the way is set out below, step by step.
At a glance
- From Flo, Clue and drip, Takt imports your data automatically: open the file, check the preview, apply.
- Natural Cycles and other apps hand over your data as a spreadsheet. Takt recognises which column holds date, bleeding, temperature and cervical mucus, and you quickly check that it fits.
- You open the zip file from Flo or Clue directly in Takt, password included. No unpacking.
- Before anything is applied, Takt shows you what comes across: time span, days, bleeding, temperature, cervical mucus, symptoms and notes.
- What is already in Takt stays. The move fills gaps and adds new days.
- It all happens on your phone. Takt works without an account and without a server.
How does the move to Takt work?
- Request the export from your current app. How that works for each app is further down.
- In Takt, open “More” → “Data” → “Get data” and choose your current app.
- Select the file. If it comes as a zip with a password, enter the password from the email.
- Check the preview and apply your data.
How do I get my data out of Flo?
- In Flo, tap your profile picture, then “Help” and “Contact us”.
- Choose “I need help with something else”.
- In the form, enter your email address. Under “What is your request about?”, write: Copy of my data as a JSON file. According to Flo, the JSON file is the best fit for switching to another app. Then tap “Submit”.
- It's even easier from inside Takt: the email to Flo support is ready there, with subject and text. You only send it.
- Flo sends you two emails: one with the file, one with the password. According to Flo, this takes up to a month.
- Open the file in Takt and enter the password.
If you used Flo in anonymous mode, first create an account there. Only then can Flo send you the file.
What comes across: your periods with bleeding intensity, symptoms such as cramps, headache or hot flushes, cervical mucus, sex and mood swings. The rest stays in your current app.
How do I get my data out of Clue?
- In Clue, tap “More” (≡) at the top right, then “Settings” and “Download my data”.
- Tap “Request data”. Clue shows you a password that appears only once. Copy it.
- Clue sends you an email with the button “Download data”. The link is valid for 72 hours.
- Save the file, open it in Takt and paste the password.
What comes across: period and spotting, temperature, cervical mucus, pain, fatigue, skin and sex.
How do I get my data out of drip?
- In drip, open the menu, then “Settings” and “Data”.
- Tap “Export data”. drip creates a CSV file straight away.
- Put it into your files via the share menu, or send it to yourself.
- Open the file in Takt.
What comes across: bleeding, temperature including flagged disturbances, cervical mucus, cervix, notes, sex, pain and fatigue.
How do I get my data out of Natural Cycles?
- In your browser, open naturalcycles.com/downloaddata and sign in with your Natural Cycles account.
- Natural Cycles sends you an email with a zip folder full of CSV files, including your daily entries with temperature and period. A second email with the log of your app use can take up to 30 days. For the move, the first one is enough.
- Unpack the folder and open the file with your daily entries in Takt. Takt recognises which column is date, bleeding, temperature and cervical mucus. If something doesn't fit, you assign the columns yourself.
What can come across: temperature, bleeding, cervical mucus and notes, depending on which columns Takt finds in the spreadsheet.
My app isn't listed here. Does it work anyway?
Yes, if your app outputs a spreadsheet as CSV. Takt needs a column with the date and reads bleeding, temperature, cervical mucus and notes from it. Takt recognises dates such as 14.07.2026 or 2026-07-14, as well as decimal commas and Fahrenheit. You save an Excel file as CSV first.
What happens to what is already in Takt?
It stays. Takt keeps your own values, fills gaps from the file and adds new days. Where days overlap, you can prefer the values from the file instead. “Replace everything” exists too, and Takt asks you once more before it does it. Tip: before a big move, it is best to create a Takt backup.
Where does my data end up?
On your phone. Takt reads the file on the device, without an account and without a server. You request the export from your current app yourself; afterwards Takt only reads the file.
What does the move cost?
The move is part of full access. It is included in the trial month. Your first month is a gift. Takt can remind you before billing starts: €4.99 a month or €39.99 a year. If you cancel before then, you pay nothing. You can restore your own Takt backup even without a subscription. In the store you see the price for your country.
Your history moves with you. From your first period to today.
The steps for Flo, Clue, drip and Natural Cycles follow the providers' help pages, as of October 2026. Menus can change with new versions.
